Organised by the “Governance of Global Environmental Change: Towards a Multidisciplinary Discussion in Tertiary Environmental Education” Programme (jointly implemented by the Russian State Hydrometeorological University, the Central European University and the Earth System Governance Project), together with the EU TEMPUS Project on Environmental Governance for Environmental Curricula, the Institute for Carpathians’ Ecology (Ukraine),  the Comenius University (Slovakia), and the Lviv National University (Ukraine).

This summer school is the second in the series of the Governance of Global Environmental Change Programme that takes place 2011‐2014 under the auspices of and funded by the Open Society Institute’s Higher Education Support program (RESET). The first summer school has been held August 2011 in Pskov, Russia.
