This public event is also the opening of the 2013 winter meeting of the Open Society Foundations’ Higher Education Support Program on Governance of Global Environmental Change (ReSET), 2-6 December 2013 in Saint Petersburg. After two ReSET case study oriented summer schools (one in the Carpathians in 2012 and another one in Krasnoyarsk in 2013), this winter meeting will analyse the data collected in the field during the summer schools and reflect on various issues of local sustainability and on how they connect to global change.
