Dr. Peter Leigh Taylor is an associate professor of Sociology and co-leader of the Environmental Governance Working Group at Colorado State University, in Fort Collins. Colorado, USA. He received his Ph.D in Development Sociology from Cornell University. He does research and applied work with community-based forestry and conservation organizations in Mexico and Central America. His recent articles have appeared in the Journal of Rural Studies, World Development, Sustainable Development, Latin American Research Review, Forest Ecology and Management, Society and Natural Resources.
