University of Kent, United Kingdom

Rada Hristova is guest researcher at IVM, VU Amsterdam who is looking at the effectiveness of transnational rule-setting organizations in global sustainability politics. Coupling the research with her MA dissertation from the University of Kent, she hopes to further look at certification bodies for sustainable fisheries/aquaculture. Having previously received her BA from Penn State University, Rada combines her background in international relations and international law with her interest for cross-disciplinary environmental research to understand the ever-changing roles of actors and policy. She anticipates to start a PhD in 2011 to explore those relationships.
