Senior Research Fellows

Earth System Governance Fellows are early to mid-level career colleagues who seek to link their own research projects with the broader themes and questions advanced by the Earth System Governance Science and Implementation Plan. Through a bottom-up, dynamic and active network Earth System Governance Fellows collaborate on research projects, debate ideas and disseminate information on relevant events and opportunities in the field.

Senior fellows are researchers or assistant/associate professors that have held a doctoral degree for at least 5 years and/or have produced 12 or more international peer-reviewed publications (including articles and book chapters) linked to the Earth System Governance Science and Implementation Plan.

Application Process

To apply to be an Earth System Governance Fellow, please submit a complete CV and a motivation letter expressing how your work relates to the Earth System Governance Science Plan (no more than 1 page) to fellows [at] earthsystemgovernance.org. In the application please specify what analytical problem(s) your research is most closely associated with and whether you want to be considered a senior fellow. The Earth System Governance Scientific Steering Committee will evaluate the applications and the network coordinators will contact the applicants upon acceptance.
