Maryna Rabinovych is currently a PhD student at the Universities of Odessa and Hamburg, focusing on EU’s rule of law promotion through regional trade agreements. She also works as a Global Community manager at the grassroots think-tank “Ukraine Democracy Initiative” (University of Sydney) and a Translation Fellow at the Association4U project, directed to supporting the implementation of the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement. In 2016/2017 and 2018 Ms. Rabinovych held visiting positions at the School of Law at the University of Thessaloniki and the Department of European, International and Comparative Law at the University of Vienna, respectively. In 2018 she was part to the academic project “International Law for Sustainable Development Goals” (University of Groningen). Her research interests include EU law of external relations, Sustainable Development Goals and their implementation in the EU and beyond, EU development policy, EU Neighbourhood Policy, foreign aid and its coordination, development policies in Eastern Ukraine.
