Sander Chan a Dutch political scientist, working and living in Germany.

Sander is a researcher at the German Development Institute (‘Deutsches Institut für Entwicklungspolitik’) and adjunct assistant professor at the Copernicus Institute of Sustainable Development at Utrecht University. His main research topic concerns the engagement of all parts of society to prevent dangerous climate change, to adapt to impacts of climate change, and to realize sustainable development. His work emphasizes that the fight for a climate safe and sustainable future is not a matter of governments alone, but will require contributions from all.
