Humanity is drawing nearer its ecological and social limits. Problems such as global warming, los of biodiversity, diseases or poverty are becoming more pressing. To face these challenges, it will take leaders with solid economic knowledge and a well founded combination of expertise in ecological and social issues, as well as a sense of responsibility. Experts of sustainability, that is. The new master's degree "Sustainability Economics and Management" (SEM) aims towards training these leaders. It will provide graduates with factual knowledge in their main subjects, as well as the analytical, interdisciplinary and social skills to prepare them for work in businesses, NGOs or international Organisations.
