Here you can find information about the conference venue, accommodation, travel, and social activities planned for the 2026 Bath Conference on Earth System Governance. This page will be updated continuously.

You may need a visa to come to the UK. Depending on your nationality, you may need to get an electronic travel authorisation (ETA).

The main conference will take place in several venues in central Bath, including, Bath Abbey, the Apex Hotel, the Guildhall and Bath Royal Literary and Science Institute.

The Early Career Day and the Meeting Day will both take place at the University of Bath campus, on Claverton Down.

Bath is a small city and all conference venues are easily navigable by foot.

Looking back at #TCESG2025

During four days in August 2025, more than 400 participants from over 70 countries came together in Johannesburg for TC/ESG 2025, a joint conference organized by the Earth System Governance Project, the Transformations Community and the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, dedicated to navigating sustainability transformations toward justice and equity.
