Research Fellow Applications

What does it mean to be a Research Fellow?

Research fellows are scholars who have applied to be formally connected to the ESG Project. They receive a dedicated profile on our website and are included in the ESG Project member network. Research Fellows are expected to contribute to network activities by proactively seeking opportunities to collaborate with other members, e.g. through Taskforces, Working Groups and other initiatives.

Please note that these are voluntary, unpaid titles.

Application process

We advise you to start by reading the eligibility criteria listed in the section below.

Your application should include:

  • A CV, including a list of publications.
  • A motivation letter (max 1 page) that specifies which research lenses and contextual conditions of the ESG Project’s Science and Implementation Plan your research is most closely associated with.

The ESG Project’s International Project Office evaluates all applications and informs the applicants of the outcome.
