Frank Biermann, chair of the Earth System Governance Project, held a key-note presentation on “Earth System Governance: Outline of a global research programme” at the closing plenary of the 8th International Conference of the European Society for Ecological Economics, 29 June – 2 July 2009, Ljubljana, Slovenia. The conference was organised by the ESEE – European Society for Ecological Economics, and the University of Ljubljana, Biotechnical Faculty.
