Q&A with the 2026 Bath Team

Event start: 8 December 2025

Event description

The organising team for the 2026 Bath Conference on Earth System Governance held an open Q&A session on 8 December 2025, covering all aspects of paper submission and the conference itself.

Early-career researchers were especially encouraged to attend to ask experienced scholars for guidance on topics such as how to craft a strong conference abstract and what makes a compelling submission.

The session featured Conference Chair Yixian Sun and organizing committee members, Maria Garcia, Sophia Hatzisavvidou, and Conference Coordinator Rachell Willis. The Co-Chairs of the ESG Scientific Steering Committee, Jonathan Pickering and Cristina Inoue welcomed the participants and introduced the Earth System Governance Project more broadly.
