Registration opens in January 2025. Stay tuned for updates on early-bird discounts and event details by subscribing to our newsletter or following us on social media!
While we are currently working on developing partnership opportunities that could potentially support travel and accommodation costs, we don’t have a specific answer just yet. However, we encourage you to submit your proposal in the meantime, as we will keep you posted with the latest information as it becomes available.
In the first months after Ticket Registration we will offer an early bird discount.
For groups larger than 8 people, please reach out to info@transformationscommunity.org and we can explore group options.
Participation & Proposals
The deadline for submission is November 30, 2024.
We strongly encourage everyone to aim to submit to the main deadline (30th of Nov) in order to ensure sufficient time for travel booking/visa applications and to ensure the availability of accommodation in Skukuza (which can fill up early in the year). It is particularly important to submit for the main deadline if you are proposing a Speed Talk or Interactive Panel-Dialogue Session as we expect the allocation for these session formats to be filled after the first round of submissions.
Individuals are welcome to submit multiple proposals. However, to encourage broader participation, we may limit the number of accepted proposals per person. Some proposals may be invited for online-only participation depending on program needs.
Individual paper submissions are possible in “Speed Talk” sessions. Presentations will be shorter (7 minutes) than in traditional panels, so presenters will also have opportunities to discuss their findings in small groups of session participants.
Integrated Panel-Dialogue Sessions will vary in format depending on the approach taken by facilitators. However, these sessions will be assessed by the conference review committee on the basis of a single proposal – individual paper abstracts from the speakers in the panel are not required.
When selecting a submission type, consider the format that best aligns with your content and goals. For concise presentations, Speed Talks work well for sharing key insights in a short amount of time. If your proposal involves collaborative discussions or multiple perspectives, Integrated Panel-Dialogue Sessions are ideal. For highly interactive and thematic conversations, Interactive Dialogues like World Café or Fishbowl sessions are a good fit. If your focus is on practical actions or policy discussions, T-Labs provide a hands-on, experiential space. Creative and Wellbeing Practices are perfect for proposals involving artistic or well-being elements with a focus on innovative engagement. For more in-depth, full-day workshops, TransAction Workshops offer the space for intensive collaboration and learning. We recommend reviewing the specific requirements for each type and considering how interactive or research-driven your session should be. No, there are no additional fees when submitting your proposal.
We will send a notification of outcome via email, once the review process is finalized on February 5th.
Submit a proposal via our standard process. We will get back to you for further discussion, in case the programme-committee has shortlisted you as a potential keynote.
Yes, we will provide feedback for all submitted proposals. This ensures that participants receive valuable insights whether or not their proposals are accepted.

Event Experience
A transdisciplinary space for scholars, practitioners, and artists to come together in dialogue and practice. Short presentations, long conversations, and practical workshops. We anticipate including field trips and pre or post-conference workshop opportunities. Some conference sessions will be specifically designed to encourage attendance by policymakers and practitioners. A blend of science, arts, and humanities!
For the main conference in South Africa we are planning to offer: Workshop Days; Gala Dinner; and Offsite Field Trip.
Yes, most of the sessions will be recorded and available after the event for registered participants.
We’re actively looking into options for attendees to support local sustainability initiatives and community groups during the TC/ESG 2025 Conference. Our focus is on making this event as environmentally responsible as possible, and we’ll share more details soon on how you can contribute.
Networking opportunities will be provided through interactive sessions, workshops, and social events. Additionally, we will have dedicated networking platforms for virtual attendees. Stay tuned for more information coming soon.

Absolutely! We embrace diversity and inclusivity, and welcome individuals with all types of backgrounds to attend our sessions. To ensure that they are able to participate fully in the conference, it’s important that they also complete the registration process.
The conference is open to all – scholars and practitioners are equally welcome. There are no eligibility restrictions.

Skukuza Safari Lodge is designed to accommodate guests with disabilities. The lodge offers seven universally accessible rooms that are wheelchair-friendly, ensuring comfort and convenience for all guests. Additionally, the lodge’s facilities, including dining areas and common spaces, are designed to be accessible, providing an inclusive experience for visitors with mobility challanges.
