Input to the Earth System Governance Data Directory
Researchers in the environmental governance field have developed a wide range of valuable datasets and databases—but these resources are often difficult to find or not widely known. The Earth System Governance Project aims to help close this gap.
The Earth System Governance (ESG) Data Directory provides a shared space to list both existing and upcoming environmental governance-related datasets and databases, with links to where more information or downloads are available. It serves as an open resource for the community, supporting transparency, collaboration, and more efficient research—especially for early-career scholars.
The goal is simple: to make existing data more visible and accessible to those who can build on it.
You can contribute by submitting information below on relevant datasets or databases to be included in the directory. We welcome inputs from everyone, both within and beyond the ESG network.
If you are not yet an ESG fellow, but are interested in becoming one, you can learn more about our application process here.
Thank you in advance for helping strengthen this shared resource!
