This series of courses was jointly organised by the Institute for Environmental Studies (IVM), Amsterdam, and the Freie Universität Berlin with other partners, and were aimed at training and educating Ph.D. students and young researchers in the latest theoretical developments, empirical studies and practical implications in the field. By stimulating academic discussions and interpersonal exchanges, the training courses established a network of young researchers and developed a research agenda for the future.
