Earth System Governance members at COP30 in Belém

Several members of the Earth System Governance (ESG) Project are present the United Nations Climate Change Conference, COP30, taking place in Belém, Brazil, from 10–21 November 2025.

Researchers from across the network will engage in side events, research, and discussions on a wide range of climate governance topics — from environmental human rights defenders and global tipping points to private climate diplomacy. Members attending COP30 are encouraged to add their details and side events to the shared participation sheet to meet others from the community and help us at the International Office amplify visibility through our channels. Below we have listed some of the side-events that ESG members are organizing or taking part in.
