International Project Office to be hosted by Lund University

The Earth System Governance Project is proud to announce that starting January 2011, its International Project Office will be hosted by Lund University, Sweden.

Lund University seeks to extend its international networks in the pursuit of transdisciplinary social science research.  One initiative towards realizing this aim is that Lund University will be hosting the International Project Office of the Earth System Governance Project. As the host of the International Project Office, Lund University is delighted to contribute towards a global research agenda directed towards addressing governance challenges.

Lund University Centre for Sustainability Studies (LUCSUS) and the Faculty of Social Science, represented by the Department of Political Science will provide support to the International Project Office and facilitate university-wide research engagement. This overall excellent arrangement will provide the Earth System Governance Project with an effective and stable International Project Office in an inspiring, dynamic and high quality academic environment.
