The Earth System Governance Project is pleased to announce the launch of the Earth System Governance Data Directory — a new, open-access resource designed to help researchers and practitioners easily find and share datasets relevant to global environmental governance.
The Data Directory brings together information about existing and upcoming datasets and databases across diverse areas of environmental and sustainability governance. It aims to make it easier for scholars, especially early-career researchers and scholars from underrepresented regions, to discover, access, and build upon existing data, strengthening the empirical foundations of research and fostering collaboration across disciplines and regions.
By offering a centralized overview of data sources, the directory supports the Project’s mission to advance cutting-edge, policy-relevant knowledge for global environmental governance.
The directory is open to community contributions: anyone can suggest additional datasets to be included, whether or not they are part of the Earth System Governance network. Contributions are reviewed and added regularly to ensure that the directory remains a living and expanding resource.
Researchers, practitioners, and institutions are warmly invited to explore the directory and share their datasets to help grow this collective resource.
