Dr. Alfredo Salomão Filho is a qualitative researcher and managing director at AT Academic Feedback, an academic consultancy provider for tertiary students, scholars, and organizations. Currently, he conducts research funded by the Irish Department of Education in partnership with the Irish NGO Fighting Words and the Institute of Education, Dublin City University. The investigation sheds light on the use and adaptation of creative writing models by primary and secondary teachers in Ireland, assessing the possibilities for national curriculum development.

Alfredo has engaged in postdoctoral work at Dublin City University participating in the EU-funded project SmartYourHome. The research consortium has designed an online course on smart home technology tailored for older adults and aligned with the tenets of lifelong learning, moving towards the development of a digitally inclusive European society. Prior to this, Alfredo was a lecturer in management, sociology of education and research methodologies at both under and graduate levels at the Institute of Education, Dublin City University.

Alfredo’s academic background is hybrid. He holds a PhD in Education from the Institute of Education, Dublin City University, a MSc in Management and Organisation Studies from Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School, University College Dublin, and a BSc in Management from the School of Management and Accountancy, Federal University of Juiz de Fora. His research interests encompass science and technology studies (STS) and post-qualitative research, particularly in relation to sociology of education and sustainability. Alfredo is a member of the Society for Social Studies of Science.
