I am a green criminologist and conservation scientist advocating for wildlife and environmental justice.
I am currently a postdoctoral research associate at Newcastle University. Through this work, I am actively engaged in supporting national governments, NGOs, and community groups to implement the global biodiversity related goals and targets – as established under the Global Biodiversity Framework.
My point of entry into this research is specifically focused on ways to support the holistic implementation of the Framework, attentive to diverse ways of knowing and valuing biodiversity, and with respect to human rights, the Rights of Nature, and the specific rights of Indigenous Peoples.
