About

Ay Ling is a student assistant working on the Speaker Series of the Earth System Governance International Project Office. She is based at the International Project Office hosted by Utrecht University, The Netherlands.

Ay Ling holds a bachelor’s degree from University College Roosevelt in Liberal Arts and Sciences with a major in Anthropology and Human Geography and a minor in Environmental Sciences. She currently follows two master programs at the Utrecht University; the MSc Sustainable Development with a focus on Earth System Governance and the MSc in Cultural Anthropology: Sustainable Citizenship.

Apart from her studies and student assistant job, Ay Ling works as a project coordinator on a university-wide biodiversity campaign at the Green Office Utrecht University. Occasionally, she works as an SDG Voice for SDG Nederland to inform, advise and give workshops regarding the SDGs.

Previously Ay Ling has worked at the Eleanor Green Office as the Chair, Secretary and Communications and Marketing manager. She did an internship at Guerrilla Gardeners, organized climate strikes and worked as a photographer.
