About

I am a social anthropologist and geographer by training with interdisciplinary expertise in sustainability, behavioural dimensions of environmental change, systems thinking, and environmental justice. My research examines how communities in the Global South understand, navigate, and respond to environmental interventions, development policies, and socio-ecological transformation, with particular attention to mobility, livelyhood, and political economy. Over more than a decade of teaching, research, and academic leadership in the UK and USA, I have developed a research profile that integrates ethnographic and social sciences inquiry with critical approaches to sustainability, behaviour, and development practice.
