I am an Associate Professor of International Relations who studies global environmental politics, climate justice, critical theory, and the political economy of developing countries. My geographic focus is on Turkey, Greece, and India. I work as a faculty member and program coordinator at the Political Science and International Relations Department at the Middle East Technical University, Northern Cyprus Campus.
I obtained my Ph.D. in Political Science and International Relations from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies (IHEID), Geneva. My M.Phil. in International Relations is from the University of Cambridge (Wolfson College), and my B.Sc. in International Relations is from the Middle East Technical University in Ankara.
My articles have appeared in various peer-reviewed journals, including Environmental Politics, International Environmental Agreements: Politics, Law and Economics, Regional Environmental Change, Southeast European and Black Sea Studies, Journal of Balkan and Near Eastern Studies, Journal of Gender Studies, and Cambridge Review of International Affairs.
