About

I am an educational & research consultant at AT Academic Feedback and a postdoctoral researcher at Dublin City University’s Institute of Education (DCU IoE). At DCU IoE National Anti-Bullying Centre, I conduct “PowerAgeing”, a study that tackles ageism in the workplace, funded by the Irish Research Council. I also collaborate with “SmartHome4Seniors”, an EU-funded project on lifelong learning and IOT skills of older adults. Recently, I have conducted nationwide research on creative education in partnership with the NGO Fighting Words and DCU IoE, funded by Ireland’s Department of Education. Earlier at DCU IoE, I co-designed a blended learning course on smart home technology tailored for older adults as an outcome of the EU-funded postdoctoral project “SmartYourHome” and lectured in organisation studies (graduate level), sociology of education, academic writing, and equality & inclusion (undergraduate level).

I hold a Ph.D. in sociology of education (DCU IoE), an M.Sc. in management and organisation studies (University College Dublin), and a B.Sc. in management (Federal University of Juiz de Fora). My research interests and publications encompass feedback & learning, social studies, science and technology studies (STS), and post-qualitative research, particularly in relation to sociology of education & work and sustainability & education.
