He is a Professional Registered Land Surveyor in Nigeria as well as a Certified Geographic Information Systems Professional (GISP), registered with Certification No. 91567 from the GIS Certification Institute IL 60016, USA.
He has a B. Tech degree in Land Surveying from the Rivers State University of Science and Technology (now Rivers State University) in Port Harcourt, Nigeria, obtained in 2007. He also holds an MSc in Geographic Information Science & Systems (UNIGIS) from the Interfaculty Department of Geo-Informatics (ZGIS) at the University of Salzburg in Austria. Furthermore, MSc in Geographic information systems and applications from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Nigeria and a PhD degree in Surveying and Geoinformatics, with specialisation in Remote Sensing and GIS from the same University.
