Lisa Sanderink is a postdoctoral researcher at the Section of Governance and Technology for Sustainability (CSTM) of the University of Twente, The Netherlands. She is involved in a number of interdisciplinary projects (e.g. SERENE and SUSTENANCE) to study the governance, regulatory and economic conditions for sustainable local energy systems. More broadly, her research focuses on climate and energy governance with a special interest in the complexity of governance architectures – institutionally and discursively – and the implications for effectiveness
