Dr Tanvi Deshpande

Tanvi’s research, primarily qualitative, has focused on climate governance and justice in cities of the global South. As a researcher from the global South, she hopes to highlight the influence of the ‘local’ in terms of ideas, actors and collaborations to influence global discourses. She is a firm advocate of contextualisation and developing urban climate governance frameworks appropriate for the global South.
