About

Scholar of environmental policy, governance, and public administration, with research focused on illegal logging, forest governance, policy implementation, and street-level bureaucracy in Nigeria and the wider Global South. Drawing on political ecology, institutional analysis, and natural resource governance, my work explains how environmental rules are interpreted, enforced, and contested in practice. Recent research develops the concept of the Network of Constraints to explain the interconnected forces that shape frontline enforcement behaviour in fragile states.
