Jack Buffington is the Program Director and Professor of Supply Chain Management at the University of Denver. Jack’s research focuses on the intersection between environmental policy, science, and supply chains related to global sustainability challenges.
Dr. Buffington received a Ph.D. in supply chain/material science at the Lulea Tekniska Universitet in Lulea, Sweden, and a postdoc at the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden. Jack has published numerous journal articles and books, including his latest, “Environmental Innovation: An Action Plan for Saving the Economy and Planet by 2050.”
Jack’s current research efforts are focused on Africa, which he believes is the epicenter of where environmental innovation must be fostered.
