About

I am interested in the cultural, political, and economic arrangements that keep unsustainable practices in place. My research focuses on how such arrangements are defended by incumbent interests, and on how they are challenged by disruptions or niche actors. My work is interdisciplinary in theory and method, but tends to emphasize the importance of expertise, regulation, and governance, as well as how this is framed and communicated.

Currently, I am researching expert networks in Danish organic farming, alternative organizations in plastics and the circular economy, and the question of green growth versus post-growth in international political economy.
