Jasper Montana’s research explores the interfaces between environment, science, technology and society. With a background in science and technology studies, human geography and zoology, he focuses especially on nature-related concerns, including biodiversity conservation, nature-based solutions, and nature as part of human culture. He has a strong focus on institutions of governance, equity and inclusion, and has also worked extensively on science-policy relations, transdisciplinarity and knowledge co-production.

He is part of the ESG Taskforce for Governance of Nature & Biodiversity.
