Jihyung Joo is a postdoctoral researcher who studies the evolution of global climate policy and negotiations, and evaluates South Korean climate policy and institutions. As an interdisciplinary social scientist, she has worked and studied internationally across both public and academic sectors. She previously served as the Knowledge Translation Fellow at the University of Leeds, where she completed her PhD on the institutionalisation of climate policy and carbon markets in the Paris-era.
