Jiuyang Li is a PhD candidate in Political Science and International Development at the University of Bath and a researcher in the Sustainability Governance of China’s Global Infrastructure Investments (SGAIN) project. His research explores global environmental governance, with a particular focus on China’s role in South–South environmental cooperation and green development governance. He is interested in how governance ideas, norms, and institutions shape sustainability transitions in the Global South through comparative and qualitative research.
