Katrina is Professor of Development Studies at the University of East Anglia. Her research explores the interface between international development, environmental change and sustainability. She has experience in sub-Saharan Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean, and South Asia. She has advised numerous international development and environmental organisations, and has led many international collaborative research initiatives. She is co-editor of the journal Global Environmental Change, a member of the Resilience Alliance, and on the Scientific Committee of the IHDP. She was a Convening Lead Author of the Millennium Ecosystem Assessment and currently holds an ESRC Professorial Fellowship on ‘Resilient Development in Social-Ecological Systems’.
