Ms. Johnson is a PhD Candidate in the Faculty of Health Sciences at Simon Fraser University. Her research centers on planetary health governance, specifically exploring its conceptual foundations, opportunities and barriers to planetary health governance implementation, and how governance for planetary health currently exists in today’s world. Ms. Johnson’s research is grounded in the theory of complex adaptive social-ecological systems and she is committed to advancing equity in planetary health governance, and joining interspecies considerations into more holistic ideas of equity.
