Mikael Karlsson

Mikael’s research focuses on environmental governance, particularly climate policy. He has published over 70 peer-reviewed articles and reports, numerous other publications and hundreds of popular texts. Mikael has extensive experience contributing to public inquiries, advisory boards, and expert groups at national and international levels. He leads the Climate Change Leadership Unit at Uppsala University, and the International Office of the Earth System Governance Project.
