Mikael Karlsson

Mikael’s research focuses on environmental governance, particularly climate policy. He has published over 50 peer-reviewed articles, numerous reports and books, and hundreds of popular texts. Mikael has extensive experience contributing to public inquiries, advisory boards, and expert groups at national and international levels. He leads the Climate Change Leadership Unit at Uppsala University, and the International Office of the Earth System Governance Project.
