Nicky van Dijk is a PhD-candidate at the law faculty of the University of Tasmania. She researches how we can transform legal and governmental institution to make them more long-term oriented, and better protect the lives of young people growing up and future generations.
Her research interests touches on deliberative mini-publics, international human rights law, and generally other institutions for future generations.
Next to her academic work, Nicky is a vivid advocate for climate justice and LGBTQIA+ issues, and a dance school owner.
