I am an interdisciplinary social scientist working at the intersection of public policy, public opinion and sustainability. My research examines the policy, politics, and governance of climate change, with a particular focus on public opinion about climate change. This includes large-N observational and experimental surveys on topics about climate change, climate policy and sustainable consumption. Key lines of study includes (1) how to design stringent demand-side climate policies (i.e., taxes and regulations) to make them acceptable to people, (2) which factors that influence climate policy attitudes, and (3) fairness and inequality perceptions regarding climate change and climate policy.
