Economist, Master’s in Public Management and Policy, and PhD student in International Relations at the University of Brasília – UnB. Associated researcher of the Strategic Program UnB 2030: Sustainability and Inclusive Development. Researcher of the Earth System Governance Brasília Research Centre.
Research interests: the steering effects of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) at the Brazilian subnational levels; global governance; governance through global goals; and SDG education and learning.
Over 20 years of experience in the Brazilian Executive Branch, member of the Federal Budget and Planning Career, working in strategic planning (Secretary of Strategic Affairs of Brazilian Presidency) and regional development (Ministry of Regional Development). Member of the National Commission for the SDGs between 2016 and 2019 and member of the Brazilian delegation at the High-Level Political Forum – HLPF/2018.
