Associate Professor in Business Analytics & Economics involved in creating and running innovative and practical programs and courses for management students in business analytics and sustainability using Python, R and Tableau programming. She manages projects in the area of Sustainable development, Youth Upskilling, and livelihoods. She teaches papers in Sustainability, business analytics, and economics. Dr. Rosewine guides researchers in the area of environmental communication and disaster risk management. Before turning to be an academician, she had a successful stint in the corporate world managing projects and people in the area of operations analytics. She worked with MNCs such as Hewlett-Packard India Sales Pvt Ltd, CITIBANK, and Xerox. She has a total of 14 years of experience in academia and industry. Successfully instituted the Business Analytics program at Presidency University starting with 1 paper as an open elective to 20+ papers in analytics specializations teaching 1000+ students (MBA dual specialization and MBA Business Analytics) in the last 5 years. Founding head of the Sustainable Development Goals Centre at Presidency University with a mission of promoting and investing in sustainable development through strategic rural development. Produced 2 Ph.Ds., finished 2 funded projects, completed 40 master’s projects, and 50 outreach activities in the academic area of sustainability tightly integrating theory and practice. She has presented her research work at national and international conferences and published her research in leading journals. In 2022, led the project “Environment Sustainability: Student Diary” that won the NHRD “Innovative Teaching Practice Award 2022” for Presidency University as well as the Machine Learning Hackathon by Times Pro for IITG students 2022. Winner of K.N. Raj Fellowship for Economic Researchers 2013, Young Scientist Award from International Development Research Center (IDRC) for 2011, and Best Paper Award in 2013 and in 2017 at UGC-sponsored conferences in India.
