Dr. Stellina Jolly is a legal academic with over 20 years of teaching and research experience in international environmental law, and private international law. She currently serves as Senior Associate Professor at the Faculty of Legal Studies, South Asian University (SAU), New Delhi, and as Visiting Senior Research Associate at the University of Johannesburg. She is also an Affiliate Scholar at the Raoul Wallenberg Institute of Human Rights and Humanitarian Law. She is a Fulbright Scholar (2018– 19), and a Governing Board Member (South & West Asia) of the IUCN Academy of Environmental Law.
Her research has been published extensively by Hart, Springer, Bloomsbury, and Oxford, and in top-tier journals such as Transnational Environmental Law, Journal of Private International Law, and the Chinese Journal of Environmental Law. Dr. Jolly has led research and consultancy assignments for the Asian Development Bank, International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA), European Commission, Asia Europe Foundation, Rajiv Gandhi Foundation, and ICNL-USAID, including law reform, policy review, and rights-based environmental governance. She serves on multiple editorial boards (Oxford, Brill, Springer) and academic councils, and has organized several international conferences and workshops on climate change, legal pluralism, and environmental justice.
