Tatiana Kluvankova is professor of management . My research examines institutional ecological and experimental economics and trans-disciplinary collaboration between natural and social sciences. Currently a director of the join centre SLOVAKGLOBe for the Management of Global Slovak Academy of Sciences and the Slovak University of Technology and CETIP a non profit collaborative research network. Member of several academic networks and platforms including ISEE/ESEE (vice-president of ESEE (2009 – 2015, member of ISEE board ) and Future Earth (2016-18).

Central to our research group is Laboratory of Experimental Social Sciences that emerged as product of cooperation with Prof. Elinor Ostrom, in particularly during her visit of Slovakia in 2007 and assisted with the establishment of CETIP. We addresses trans-disciplinary knowledge co-production for governance innovations, experimenting in collective actions under the controlled conditions. Currently Lab tests positive innovation factors for ecosystem service governance in real world situations, effective adaptive strategies for societal challenges such as for climate change in urban and semi-urban areas, transition to low carbon societies. I have published my research in journals such as Science, Land Use Policy, Current Opinion in Environmental Sustainability, Ecological Economics https://www.researchgate.net/profile/Tatiana_Kluvankova In the policy area I acted as a member of the IPBES expert group on “Policy support tools and methodologies”, and the national committee on MAES under the EEA.
