Veronique is a PhD Candidate in political science completing a joint program between KU Leuven and Université Laval.
She works on the role of scientific knowledge in global governance. Her thesis studies the science-policy interface in multilateral environemental agreements (MEAs), between the subsidiary advisory scientific bodies and the MEA’s decision-makers. She looks at the conditions that affect the influence of scientific knowledge on MEAs decision-makers.
