Yang Yu is a PhD researcher focus on the sustainable development of rural China, his research focused on informal institutions, collective action and irrigation infrastructure, especially lineage institutions, since 2011 he has conducted a tracked fieldwork of lineage informal institutions in rural China more than 6 years and the project is ongoing.
