2020 Annual Report of the Earth System Governance Project

Abstract

Our vision is to understand, imagine, and help realise just and sustainable futures by stimulating a pluralistic, vibrant and relevant research community. Curious to know about the various components of the Earth System Governance Project, and what was achieved in 2020?
The 2020 Earth System Governance Annual Report is available to view online for the community. Within, you will find a letter from the SSC as well as some key activities and achievements of the network this year.

A tumultuous year, and yet not without great achievements for scholars around the globe. Our Virtual Forum was our largest and most accessible event ever. 7.5% of the network publications in 2020 directly engaged with the pandemic, showing the relevance and urgency of our research. Read about this, and more in the network’s second-ever annual report.
