Registration for presenting authors and speakers at innovative sessions is now closed
This 2022 Toronto Conference on Earth System Governance, hosted by University of Toronto and University of Waterloo, is oriented toward in-person attendance and organized on the historic St. Georges campus in central Toronto for the days of 21-23 October, as well as the Taskforce & Meeting Day on the 24th October. There are also many virtual components of the conference made available for global access, with virtual Parallel Panels and Innovative Sessions held before the official start of the Conference on 20th and 21st October.
Two different tickets are available for those interested in participating in the conference: Full Registration and Virtual Registration.
- Full Registration tickets are for participants who wish to attend the conference in Toronto. This package provides access to all sessions of the conference programme.
- Virtual Registration tickets are for those who wish to attend remotely and is offered at a substantially reduced price.
Please note the following important information:
All participants, including speakers and co-organizers, must register to participate in and attend the 2022 Toronto Conference. Registration to the 2022 Toronto Conference is completed only when full payment of the registration fee is received.
1 September 2022 is the deadline date for presenting authors of accepted abstracts to register to be included in the Conference Programme. If the presenting author has not registered by this date (or another registered co-author has been assigned as presenting author), the accepted abstract will be removed from the Conference proceedings.
Parallel Panels and Innovative Sessions are either held on-site or virtually, but not in hybrid form. For presenting authors, it is important to note that the selected Registration Ticket will determine your allocation in the schedule (either onsite or virtual).
Virtual Parallel Panels and Innovative Sessions taking place 20th and 21st October and Parallel Panels and Innovative Sessions during the 21st – 23rd October. We are not able to offer hybrid presentation modes for Parallel Panels or Innovative Sessions.
Registration takes place on the Conference Platform, ConfTool, the same platform used for the abstract submission and review processes. If you have submitted an abstract and/or reviewed abstracts for the conference, you will need to use the same login information you used earlier.
