About

I am a researcher at the German Institute of Development and Sustainability (IDOS) and a PhD candidate at Leuphana University Lüneburg. At IDOS, I work in the research programme on Environmental Governance and Transformation to Sustainability.
I am passionate about advancing democratic governance to deal better with sustainability and long-term issues. In my dissertation, I explore the design and impact of national sustainability institutions, like councils or commissions for sustainable development or for the future, on policy-making. My academic background is in political science and public management as well as in development studies. Trying to walk the sustainability talk, you won’t find me on-site at ESG or other conferences outside Europe because I avoid flying, but I am always happy to be in touch.
