Earth System Governance Journal
The Earth System Governance journal is the flagship publication of the Earth System Governance Project. Scholars publish cutting-edge research of their own, as well as new research insights presented and developed at ESG conferences and academic workshops, synthesising work by our Taskforces and Working Groups and other similar research activities. Frank Biermann serves as the editor in chief, and Carole-Anne Sénit serves as the managing editor. The journal was created in 2019 and has since been indexed in Scopus and Web of Science. In 2023 the journal received its first Impact Factor of 5.6. Thereby the journal has attained the status of a top-tier journal (Q1) in the Scimago Journal Rankings.
