The International Project Office (IPO) is the focal point for management and administration, as well as for the communication and network development efforts of the Earth System Governance Project. The office is hosted by and situated at the Copernicus Institute of Sustainable Development at the Faculty of Geosciences, Utrecht University. The ESG IPO regularly consists of three staff members including a director, science and communication officer, and the network coordinator, with additional support from student assistants.
Scholars can work with the ESG IPO to share information with the wider network via the website, newsletters, network updates, and social media channels. Members of the ESG network can also work with the IPO to host a webinar as part of the ESG Speaker Series or other event type, for which the IPO provides promotion, event set up and tech support for a scholar-led theme and content.
