Benjamin Weinger is a doctoral student in the Department of Geography at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Their research explores the history and politics of planetary climate planning, normative dimensions of climate governance, and heterodox movements for climate justice. They are currently a Climate Fellow in the Office of Sustainability of the City of Los Angeles researching institutional logics of urban climate governance. Their work has been supported by the National Science Foundation and the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation.
